Abstract

Employee satisfaction is an important variable in organizational success, productivity, and overall harmony in the workplace. One of the major determinants of job satisfaction is the manner in which grievances are managed within organizations. Grievance management is a systematic process aimed at the redressal of grievances of employees concerning their grievances, concerns, or disputes within an organization. The effective management of grievances helps in the resolution of workplace conflicts but also results in a good working environment with improved morale, commitment, and productivity among employees. In contrast, a poor grievance management system may lead to dissatisfaction, workplace stress, high turnover rates, and decreased employee engagement. Employees who feel unheard or unfairly treated may experience a decline in motivation, which negatively impacts their job performance and overall organizational climate. Therefore, understanding the impact of grievance management on employee job satisfaction is essential for both HR professionals and business leaders aiming to create a supportive and productive workplace.
